i have been through the refinancing process before and i cant tell you how much of a pain it was for me and my wife. communication is really important for us and we really liked to know where we stood in the process and and kept in the loop every step of teh way.

the guys i used was total mortgaeg. they were really helpful and knew what the heck they were doing. the ca mortgage broker i used was very friendly and professional. i’ve added two links below to their site and their rates page. ask for anthony when you call, he’s the one that worked with us. i would highly recommend total mortgage to anyone who is looking to buy a home or refinance.

  1. It is difficult to identify a mortgage broker in California as the requirements to offer a loan product in California is to have a California real Estate license or California Consumer Finance Lenders license. You are not required to reside in the state of California as long as you have a license to conduct mortgage loans in California.

If you are buying a home you need to get pre-approved.

There are many things you should do, but the first thing you should do is contact a mortgage broker that does FHA mortgage loans and get pre-approved. This is the first step. Once you have your pre-approval then contact a real estate agent to look at house based on what you are qualified to buy.

This pre-approval will tell you the amount of house you are qualified to purchase as well as the interest rate, monthly mortgage payments and other necessary things you need to know about your mortgage.

If you need a refinance then you still need to complete an application and get approved for a refinance mortgage.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

  2. I know a few that are honest. Most are scum bags, especially posting around here.

Let me know your location, I will see if I can direct you to someone who will not try and con you.
